IRS DEPARTMENTS
OFFICE OF THE CHAIRMAN
  - It is responsible for the Overall management of IRS, both financial and adminisrative controls. Click here to view Chairman's Profile

OFFICE OF THE BOARD SECRETARY
  - It is strictly guided by the Statute and this relates to arranging meetings, keeping minute books and stands as liaison between IRS and the public.

DIRECTORATE OF INFORMATION
  - This Directorate provides statistical data, carry out research, produce technical bulletins and more importantly the image of IRS.

LEGAL OFFICE
  - Gives legal advice to IRS, it is in charge of enforcement and takes care of all cases in court.

ASSESSMENT & COLLECTION
  - The principal duty of this directorate is to ensure that all taxable individuals and corporate/non-corporate bodies are properly and adequately assessed and collection of all assessment raised and also ensure collection and funds for all assessments raised.

GENERAL TECHNICAL SERVICE DIVISION(GTSD)
  - This is an important arm of IRS that is in charge of Investigation & Compliance

FINANCE & SUPPLY
  - The duty is to ensure adequate accumulation of financial data, ensures accountability of assessments and collections. Liaise  with the Accountant-General, Auditor General, Ministry of Finance on all IRS financial matters. Liaise with the Banks, Treasury and carry out reconciliation of Revenue heads in various banks and treasury cash offices. It prepares the Financial Statement of IRS and defend financial transactions.

HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION
  - It is responsible for manpower development, including staffing and personnel training. Maintenance of all Assets of the Board all over the State and other liaison offices outside the State.

OFFICES OF THE ZONAL COORDINATORS
  - They are in five Zones namely Abeokuta, Ilaro, Ijedu-ode, Ota, Sagamu. The coordinator are primarily responsible for revenue generating and accounting in their respective zone. They are aslo empowered to deal decisively in their various Zones in the management of staff and other resources at their disposal.
