REQUIREMENTS
It is mandatory for all residents of the State of 18yrs
and above whether an indigene or not to register and obtain a "TIN CODE". This requirement
also affects students, Unemployed and Self Employed no matter the nature of what
they do for a living.
Your Personal data like; Fullname,Sex,Marital Status, Date of Birth, Residential
Address, Employment Status, How to contact you.
Resident Zone Code refers to where you reside in Ogun State even though you may
be working outside the State.
Futhermore, this also affects anyone resident in Ogun State on 1st January of any Year.
While completing the
Biodata Form please wait for the Local governments fields to be populated by the
system to enable you simply click on the relevant information.
Password
requires at least 6 characters alphanumeric acceptable
ABOUT YOUR "PERSONAL TIN"
Your "Personal Tin" will be given to you immediately after you complete
registration. Just like we have in other parts of the world, like the U.S for instance,
the Social Security Number is a unique Identifier for an Individual which has helped
the Government in delivering good governance to its citizenry by knowing who they
are and what they want, that's what the "Personal Tin" represents in our environment.
A Unique Identity for you from the state government, as in, part of the state government's
responsible to bringing good governance to you.
Your personal TIN will represent your Identity/record with the state government.
Your "TIN CODE" has
13 characters. It is a Security number. Please keep it safe to guard against unauthorised
access to your Tax data.
Tin
number ties each Taxpayer to his/her ward, local government, employer, nature of
business etc.
Its is unique and cannot be replaced.
