DIRECT(SELF EMPLOYED) ASSESSMENT
 
E-Filing also known as Tax Assessment is neccessary for every individual above 18years of age living or working in Ogun state.
As it is known, Tax evasion is a criminal offence
In providing better service to the people of the state, the IRS Ogun state has brought Tax Filing/Assessment to your door step so that you will have no excuse for not paying your Taxes as at when due. You also have the opportunity at your door-step to request for your electronics TAX Clearance Certificate T.C.C.etc, after payment.
Tax Assessment -- Please refers to "Personal Income Tax"(PORTA).
There are four [4] interactive pages to be completed when Filing Tax Returns viz
Page [1] Income Details [EARNED AND UNEARNED]
Page [2] Benefits in Kind provided by Employers
Page [3] Reliefs and Allowances being claimed including Children,Dependants,Life 
    Assurance,Interest on Mortgage Loan etc
Page [4] provides a summary of all the information provided in 1-3 above and 
    provides the Tax Assessment for the Tax Payer.

All the forms can be printed by the Tax Payer

ABOUT PERSONAL INCOME TAX
Under Personal Income Tax portal, we have two types of which will be explained below; 
   Direct Assessment (Self Employed)
   P.A.Y.E (Corporate)

ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE UNDER DIRECT ASSESSMENT
     DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FROM TAX PAYER
Statement of Affairs of Business or Audited Accounts of the Tax Payer's Business/Income for the preceeding year.
Asssessment Filing --> Direct Assessment
